What could be better than having racer Bobby Allison show you around the Buffalo Auto Show?

Only one living warrior has clocked more miles behind the wheel, won more motorized battles, and carved more notches in his gear shift lever than even the legendary ”The Racer’s Racer” Bobby Allison. That man is of course, Buffalo cab driver and 2005 Buffalo mayoral candidate “The Cab Driver’s Cab Driver” Ron Moss.

Ray Ammerman, General Manager of the West Herr Jaguar dealership, explains to Ron Moss exactly what it will take for him to get into this 2007 XK Coupe.

Ron Moss aquired a free slice of pizza after calling the server “Honey”.

I called this Z06 Vette “Honey” as well as a few other terms of endearment.

Moss slugs down some hot coffee and demonstrates the proper cup-holder technique in this 2007 Lexus SC Luxury Coupe hardtop/convertible.

Ron Moss explains to the crowd why this automobile would be a poor choice for a Buffalo cab.

Buffalo’s most accomplished driver, seen here suited up,  heads out into the night -always on duty. It is said, “Moss has taken more white-loads than a Maytag Laundry Center.”

  1. mr.moss had a certain je ne sais quoi that makes him so awesome/hilarious.

and his campaign platform for mayor…priceless.

  2. Blov, what did you think of the show, overall? I was disappointed, as usual.

I love the Toronto show. My friend Dave and I have made it for the last 10 years.

The only good part about the Buffalo show is that you can sit in some of the higher end cars, like Mercedes’ and BMWs.

    >>> Mike, I too was surprised that the nice cars were so accessible. Heck, the fact that they let Moss climb into expensive sports cars with a big sloppy cup of coffee amazed me. Of course, they probably would not have allowed a regular mortal to do that.

The previous shows I attended neglected the Corvette. I have owned several and still consider myself a Vette-man. This year they had the flagship Z06 and I got to climb inside.

The 2007 Buffalo Auto Show met my expectations. It was like visiting every area dealership in two hours. I got to ask questions and kick tires.

I had a great time, but of course, I was getting the royal treatment from the event staff because I was with legendary driver Ron Moss.
